this weekend I have the oppurtunity to pull parts from a 2006 4.7L 1500 quad cab. I need them for my 2002 4.7L quad cab. niether truck is 4 wheel drive. the parts I need are the steering column( reason is my control switch for the blower motor is not working anymore) the vapor canister because mine is throwing a code. Heater core mine just went out and was wondering if the dash would swap over. I have 193,000 on my truck. but the engine and tranny have less than 60,000 that is the reason for putting these parts on it. any help would be great. i tried doing a search that came up short.

 

One of the things I would do is download the 02 and 06 Parts Manuals from the link in my sig below and compare pics and part numbers. The P/N's will almost certainly be different although and part can be the same.

If nothing else, take pics of yours and compare to those you are looking at out in the yard.

As for the blower fan not working, did you check for voltage at the blower resistor motor as they normally go bad there first. After that did you verify the blower motor worked by jumping 12v to it?
