Default Flutter sound after catback install..

I READ THIS IN THE COMMON ISSUES

This is cause by removing the gigantic muffler and/or resonators that suppressed the pulsating effect caused by the 4cylinder(MDS) activation. Since all 8 cylinders aren't firing, there are only have the exhaust pulses flowing through the exhaust. That is why you hear what you do. very annoying if you have not experienced this. Best i can describe the sound is as if there is a helicopter submersed in water directly beneath you.

I have an 07 1500 quad cab hemi with a flow master, single inlet and dual tail pipes which turn out right before the right rear tire.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHEN THIS IS MOST COMMON TO HEAR ??
is it on accel before 2,100 rpms or driving at a steady speed...
i just purchased truck a few weeks ago with all upgrades already installed. just wanna make sure that there is nothing seriously wrong.

p.s. been driving foreign cars forever, first truck and first american vehicle

I've got the same style exhaust. Dual tipped exit Magnaflow out the pass side infront of rear tire.

Well, it happens ANYTIME the MDS is engaged. It's the MDS that causes the flutter sound. Turn it off with a Diablo or Suprchips tuner and be done with the problem. MDS sucks anyways and I get better pedal reaction time, snappier throttle and better gas mileage without it.

There's a Superchips and Diablosprt sticky at the top of the Tech page. Please view both and compare one another.
Diablo-custom tuning for cam/headwork
Superchips-stock engine tuning with option to install very mild cam(best tuner by far for transmission capabilities)
Superchips is cheaper even after paying for the $40 trans adjustment upgrade.

Good Luck. Lots of info to review.
