Default wiper intermediate settings

So high and low on my wipers work but the intermediate settings are all messed up. Sometimes they don't work at all, other times it will wipe like its on low speed and not stop and sometimes they will work normally. Any ideas?

Sounds like time to replace the control wand on the steering column.

Most likely its the ground for the park inside the wiper motor. When you turn them off do they take an extra swipe?

Well just might be the switch then.
The switch is about $120 CDN. You have to remove the air bag and steering wheel (you will need a puller). Should only take about 1-1.5 hours.
