Default Odd sound when i turn right

Hey guys,
I have an 06 1500 hemi QC with 66,6xx on the clock and noticed a odd sound comming from the truck when i turn right. It seems i only get it at speed though, its very hard to describe but sounds like very high pitched, rapid ticking sound. The ball joints were replaced at 63000k. Its only when the wheel is turned to the right, like around a slow right hand turn. Any ideas???

Can you confirm if this sound is coming from the front? A ticking or ratcheting sound only when turning in one direction is typical of a differential that has a LSD in it and has no or worn out friction modifier. Although if you are 100% sure it's the front end, then I'd start with the hub bearings (and they are sealed, so you are looking at a replacement)...

Its def comming from the front end, theres no doubt there, i've been going slow around corners with my head like out the window. How much do you think that would run me?

Well, the LAST thing I would do is put another Mopar one on it. I just don't believe in "disposable components" like Ram engineers obviously do.
I'd use a good set, like Timkens that are greasable. Prolly run you about $35 bucks or so for just the bearing. The rest depends on if you want to get dirty or pay to have it installed...

I replaced one in the front that went bad with Timken Hub bearing assembly. The cheapest I found was 135 bucks from rockauto. I didn't see any that were greasable. The local dealer wanted 200 bucks for labor and would charge 200 for mopar assembly. It's pretty easy to do.
