Default ram air??

i see "functional ram air hoods" often when im looking at cowl hoods. can someone explain what exactly that is? how it works? price? is it worth it?

There are a few types of hoods. The srt hoods pull hot air from the engine compartment. The ram air hoods can use certain filter/CAI kits that use the air forced in the cowl to add HP

"functional ram air hoods" would be something like the SRT-10 hood with a intake behind the scoop to pull incoming air directly into the engine. Thats what it is and how it works. Average price for a used SRT hood is probably around 400 +/- and it is worth it? Ive never seen any dyno print outs showing how much better it is (if any)
