I believe the TSB is 18-013-05 and pertains to idle and low rpm operation having an rpm fluctuation and stall and it's a complete PCM re-flash with the updated software.

Pertains to '04s and early '05s. Only way I know of to see what PCM revision is on the computer is with a ScanTool...(StarScan)...

My truck has a sticker on the PCM that says it was updated at one point. That might be a sign

Yeah that's true, didn't think of it. If it's a full re-flash they are SUPPOSED to sticker it...

Hmm....I know P0300 is a misfire code. I would not expect that from a O2 sensor. Glad to hear you got it all resolved though

the random misfire code only occurred once and may have just been a glitch but I did read somewhere that sometimes faulty o2's can give off misfire codes. I forget where I read that?? I am glad it was a simple fix. The truck purrrs now and gas mileage went back up. A big relief.

Default Help with the switches.

I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 that I just purchased. It has been sitting like 3 years. My husband and I just recently fixed a lot of things under the hood. We put a battery in it because the old one was dead. Then the new battery was dragging like if something was draining it while it was not in use. So we found out that the dome light wasn't turning off. We can't find the trigger for it so we just took the fuse out for now. I am getting ready to get it street legal and I notice that there is no dash lights even whenever you turn the *** all the way to bright the only thing that gets bright it the mileage. What could this be? Also whenever the key is out of the ignition and you turn turn the light dimmer switch all the way up it make the ding sound like with the keys in but whenever you turn the dimmer switch all the way back down the dinging sound goes off! Please help. TIA.

First off you should consider making a new thread for your problem if you haven't already, the next thing you should do is start looking for an open ground wire or even power wire... It sounds like you've got a physically broken/open wire that is grounding somewhere. It won't be very easy to track down to you'll have to take out the multimeter and really get into it.
