Default Right Turn Signal light stays on

I have a 2002 RAM 1500 and I just started having a problem with my right turn light. When I turn on the truck, I get the lamp out indicator and the right front turn light is on and is bright. When I drive for a few miles, the indicator light will start going off and on and sometimes will stay off after about 15 minutes.

Have you checked your turn signal bulbs to ensure they function properly?

Cthulhu is on the right path. You need to check all your bulbs as you have one loose or starting to go bad on you. Thus the reason the Lamp Out light comes on

Yes, I checked all the turn signal bulbs, I even changed the right side one just to make sure that wasn't the issue. What gets me is that after about 15 minutes of so of driving, it returns to normal.

usually a loose connection in the bulb socket or a filament INSIDE the bulb almost broke loose but not all the way yet

So your saying it can be at any bulb socket or any bulbs filament on the truck and doesn't necessarily has to be with the one I'm having problems with?

It is likely a bulb on the right side but could be a turn signal or parking/running light bulb/socket

Thanks for all your help. I have checked all connections when I replaced the bulb and it all looked good. What gets me is that after the 15 minutes of driving the directional goes out and is normal after that. I seen on some other discussion strings for older and newer models it was suggested to check the relay but I'm unable to find it. Is is under the dash or part of the actual turn signal lever on the steering wheel?

I suspect you'll find a bad/corroded ground somewhere.
