Default How do I fix my seat

My driver side seat does not adjust back and forwards when I pull the lever on the side. Any ideas how to fix this or guides on doing this? Thanks.

As far as I know you need to replace the whole motorized assembly. Get one from Ebay or a junkyard. I think the gears inside the unit are nylon and strip out even if the motor works. Every function on mine is not working except forward and back.

Best thing to do is to remove the seat from the tract and unclip and remove the fabric and foam and get a better look to see what parts are not meshing and engaging.

@ Wolf22m - you are right but if he is pulling a lever on the side then that is to adjust the top part of the seat at an angle. If he were pullign a lever on the bottom then that would manually slide the seat back and forth and if it were electric he would not be pulling a lever at all but a switch and at that point it would be the plastic (PoS) work gear that wears out

Yeah I didn't see the lever comment there.....my bad. Has anyone come up with a fix for the POS gears other than complete replacement?

Its cool. There was a guy on Ebay selling just the motors with the gears on them for like $80. Not cheap but still cheaper than replacing the entire tract

I'll take it apart and see what I can figure out. Thanks everyone.
