Default zone or fabtech...?

I have heard good things about BDS suspension lift kits, and i believe that zone lift kits are like a sister company to BDS... correct me if i am wrong though!

my original plan was to buy a 5" zone lift but i came across a fabtech 6" lift for only 500 more bucks.

I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on either of these lifts? I feel like they are both good lift kits but i don't know if its worth spending the extra 500 for the fabtech because i believe they filed for bankruptcy?

The Fabtec kits for the torsion front IFS trucks are not designed well (besides the measured lift is reported to be around 5" by most who have it). Lots of guys go through multiple CV shafts with this kit as it puts them at a poor angle.

Also, the parent company of Fabtech/Superlift is in bankruptcy, so parts down the road could be iffy.

Do a search on here, there are a few guys on their second and third CV shafts with this kit...

I have a BDS susp lift on my truck. You would need a different kit than I have, but I would recommend BDS. As far as Zone being related I'm not sure.

Fabtech really seems to be in the dirt right now, whether you are looking at the possible future availibility of parts or design. I think people have been overly satisfied with BDS and I havent heard a bad word about Zone so far, but they are not horribly popular as of yet
