Default 2003 dodge ram 1500 4.7l excessive water from radiator.

I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 with a 4.7 l engine with 130000 miles on it. i recently boat a boat and after towing it about 20 miles for the day 10 to the ramp and 10 back, i parked my truck and all of the water cam out of the radiator. after parking the boat i filled the radiator back up and everytime i would go somewhere the same thing would happen. also every once in a while i would not be able to turn the steering wheel, but the truck would stay on. i just turned it off and turned it back on. i'm guess it might be the water pump or belts but just wondering if anyone can give me some advice, i would appreciate it, thanks!

Check the upper radiator hose... it's right above the power steering pump and could be leaking on the pulley.

Welcome to the site. You should easily be able to see where the water is coming from. But is it over heating at all?

Update: well I was thinking is was coming from the radiator cap..it was overheating just on the day I towed the boat and it hasn't over heated since but I haven't been towing anything...I'm sure its overheating due to the engine working harder..I'm looking for ways to keep the engine cooler...I have changed the radiator cap and the serpentine belt(due to squeking) and I'm flushing the radiator this weekend...anything I can do to keep the engine cool while towing?
