Default Door panel removal

I have an 05 Ram Laramie. I bought new speakers for the doors because the existing system sounds like crap (Infinity). Does any have any hints removing the door panels? I bought a tool at an auto parts store but have not tried it yet. I was gently using a screwdriver but it did not budge. The panel is extremely tight.

Thanks

There should be three or four screws you have to remove first. One is on the top left of the door panel. Another is around the door handle. The rest are on the bottom of the panel. Pull those screws and the door panel should pop off as it is held on with clips. Be careful not to pull the panel too hard, you may break it. Use the tool you bought, that's what it's for.

To remove the door panels, you remove the 4 screws and the door handle (use a torx screwdriver). Then lift up on the panel, it comes right off. There is no need to use the clip tool because there are no clips. Very easy.

Hey man what size and brand of speaker did you put in the Ram? Also did you need amp or anything or does it sound good with the deck you have?

Thank you
