Default 2003 Dodge Ram compressor issues help please

Recently my truck has been having ac issues. The compressor will shut off if I am going under 35. Anything above that and it blows cold air great. I changed out the compressor, fittings, dryer, and added freon. Which on a side note does anyone know the capacity for it? But I was wondering if anyone had similar problems and had found a fix for it. Its getting a hassle and in Texas during the summer is the worst time to lose ac flow. Help appreciated.

Look for a vacuum leak, this is common as engine vacuum is low when going slow when climbing a grade while driving, the reservoir supplies the vacuum needed for proper HVAC operation. Check the intake manifold for a broken bolt or sign of a leak.

If a leak is not found then it's probably the check valve bleeding vacuum back into the engine...

I was wondering if it could be that the compressor was overheating since I just noticved that my clutch is failing when idling or stopping. Any ideas if I am heading in the correct direction?
