Default Third Dome Light

I just put in a third dome light over the rear seats. All I heard when the kids got in the truck, "I can't see daddy!" or, "It's dark back here daddy!" It took all of half an hour to do and lights up the rest of the truck. Sometimes kids have really good ideas.

Hey, I really like that! My kids have the same complaints... although, I'd like to have individually switchable lights in the back for each of them. Any idea how best to do that?

Also, could you post a quick blurb on the parts you used, how you did this, etc? I'm sure others would love to try it.

Mike

PS: We had a Chevy Trailblazer that had individual reading lights above each door for each passenger, it was a great feature!

Eventually, I'll be putting in the reading lights, too. I'm gonna put them on the healiner over the door with a switch on the upright next to the seats.

The kids are in the back seat so you can ignore them. Trying to see in dim light makes their little eyes better and don't get me started on reading. You let them read and the next thing you know, they're having individual thoughts and opinions. Let them ride in the bed then they'll appreciate the back seat more.

Just joking.

Your install looks incredibly clean, looks like it is factory installed. Please post up what you needed and how you did it.
