I have 2005 dodge ram 1500 hemi. The parking brake will not stop me when applied. How do i adjust the parking brake?

 

if the 05' is like my 06' then look under the driver door floor pan area.You will see the cable with an adjuster that can be loosened or tighened with a nut. If that doesn't allow enough adjustment than you stuck pulling the back rotors to adjust the parking brake by turning the gold gear looking thing (parking brake adjuster).
