Default upper ball joint question

i have an o6 1500 2 wheel drive and i noticed the upper ball joints need to be replaced. I went to my local kragen and they sell just the upper ball joints or the whole control arm with ball joint. Are the old ones just pressed in or do i have to replace the whole freakin arm? Theres gotta be a way to get them out i guess, since they sell JUST the ball joint. thanks..

They are sold as a unit with the UCA and BJ all in one. Only the lower BJ can be pressed out

Dont believe what resellers tell you. Do believe what manufactures tell you.

83k on my 04 with a 12" lift and still using OEM BJs. Check your price at www.rockauto.com and search online for discount codes to use

Moog is one of the better brands. And I think 162 is good for two as I paid $68 (i think) for one lower ball joint

so i ordered both upper a-arms with new moog ball joints. I also noticed the passenger side sway bar end link is shot.. Is it just rubber bushings that need to be replaced?
