04 ram rusted out oil pan
anyone changed an oil pan on a 04 4.7 4wd??? I haven't had a chance to look at it yet,just wondering if it's a p.i.a,mitchell est. is 2.6 hrs.I have a hoist,just don't know if it's gonna clear the front diff or if i'll have to pull the mounts and jack the motor up?thanx D....

2.6hrs on a 4wd? huh.. Must not have much in the way then.
All I can suggest is to replace it with an OEM Dode pan. The aftermarkets are cheaper and much thinner metal.
Be sure to overlap RTV sealant on the front/rear seals.(just in the corners!) unless it's a one piece rubber seal???
