Default Ram1500 4.7L V8 Quad cab starting issues

Recntly my dodge pickup has been experiencing a starting problem.
It seams as though the battery is dead except that all the interior light and radio work. exterior light work as well.
I try and start it and all i get is a clicking and all the light go out.
If I jump the battery it starts right up. I had the battery tested and they said it was good. The alternator puts out 14.2 volts when running and the current is 62 amps to the power post for the fuses when running.
I am at a loss. Any idea's?

It is normal for a dead batter to be able to power windows and lights and radio but not enough juice to power the starter. The starter requires a massive amount to power to turn it because it has to overcome the compression of the engine.

Get a second test on that battery or try swapping it out with another battery to see what you get.

Have you take your battery leads off the posts and cleaned them and the battery posts for corrosion? It could be as simple as that. You may not be getting power from the battery posts to the leads but when connected another battery to the leads you are getting a good connection.
