Default Turn signal issues

Hello people I have an issue with my 06 RAM 1500 quad cab 4X4. It is crazy but every time I put on the left turn signal it flashes the right one and it is not starting to not work at all. Sometimes when you push the turn signal arm in then the left one will come on. But then again sometimes neither will work. Then sometimes they work great. I had the turn signal arm switched out one time and it worked for about a year then it started acting up again. Does anyone know of any issues with this or know of a fix for it?

Could be electrical, my father has an 07 tundra and it has trouble with that and the O/D coming on and off. He checked it out, he is a certified mechanic, and it was bad wiring work in the fuse box.

I hate to state the obvious here, but if a turn signal stalk worked once for the same problem, then I'd guess that replacing it again would do the trick. Did you replace it with OEM or aftermarket the first time?

I'm not saying you are. I was just wondering whether you used an OEM stalk or an aftermarket one.
