stering wheel stiff!!

Default stering wheel stiff!!

Hello! hi, i'm new here i have a 04 ram 2500 and the recent problem beside the missfire in cylinder #2 that since i bought it (3 years ago) i can not get it out!! last week the stering whell turned very stiff when iddle when rpm are about 500 to 700 when i rive up it turn little soft> what could it be !! from, i can't tellwhen it's moving only when stay still, any ideas please,

the lower the rpm the less the power steering pump is turning which equates to less overall power steering.

maybe you should get a tuner so you can see exactly where your rpms are at and maybe raise the according.

you have been doing all scheduled maintenance right?

i did check the receirvore and it's ok, and there is no visible leaks!!

On the misfire cylinder #2, I had the same problem with my 05 Hemi with only 34K miles on it, turned out to be a bad injector. Also replaced the coil, all plugs, and had the dealer do a thorough injection system cleaning, but that did not cure it. About a month after the fix, I had multiple misfires which was caused by a bad gas pedal sensor (potentiometer?), replaced the gas pedal with a new version.
