I did away with my plug wires when i upgraded to 06+ coils. But that's about a $450 +/- upgrade. I can't speak on what manufacturer to use but when changing them out you should do one at a time to keep them from getting mixed up.

The OEM wires are numbered, but like Weed said - do 'em one at a time. that's how I did mine. I used MSD 8.5mm. Probably spent too much, but it actually seemed to help ('course it had 110K on it when I changed 'em )

I buy ones from Autozone, not sure if it's cheap quality or just the fact that the 5.9 engines have the heat shields around the plugs but when I go to change them out I usually have 3 or 4 wires that break apart from the boot. I do use the spark plug grease but it doesnt seem to help. At least autozone replaces the wires under their warranty.
