Default Engine shudder when stopping

I have an 04 1500 6 cylinder with about 90k on it. Automatic tranny. Recently, when stopping and it makes the transition from drive to idle, the engine shudders like its starting to stall but recovers and idles fine. It has not actually stalled yet.

I have replaced plugs, ran several tanks with injector cleaner additive, cleaned the carb intake (as best I could without removing it) and replaced the PCV valve.

Any ideas what to check next?

I was considering doing a tranny flush as well as it has never had one. Talked to a shop and they suggested leaving it as the fluid probably varnished and the cleaners in new fluid might cause more problems.

Any other opinions on that?

Can the O2 sensors be cleaned or do they need to be replaced?

Well I almost got the TB off but am having trouble getting the 2 electrical plugs to release. Not sure how they seperate and really don't want to break them. Any videos or pictures for taking the TB off on an 04 1500 3.7L V6? Electrical plugs are my last sticking point....

there is usually a plastic locking clip that you must slide to one side to release the harness and it is usually red in color
