Default Service Manual - 30000 mi service

Anyone out there have the service manual? These damn things are 225 bucks! Basically, I need to learn how to do the trans fluid, axle fluids (f/r) and change the plugs... (The plugs should be easy except how do you get at the rear ones?!?!) Any help would be appreciated.

If you get the service manual on cd, its a lot cheaper, but, I'm still waiting on mine. They are on back order still

The place to purchase direct is here http://www.techauthority.daimlerchrysler.com

The tranny fluid is best left to the pros for the simple reason of fluid disposal. Nobody around here accepts tranny fluid.
The axles are easy. Simply remove the covers and let the fluid drain into the pan. RTV the pan and put back on. Fill axle through fill hole in side of differential housing. The plugs are self explanitory.

Good luck.

Go on ebay and find one. What most of these guys have done is copy them to PDF and put them on disc. I paid like $12 incl shipping for mine, got it in about 3 days. It's the entire original manual, just on disc rather than a book, but you can still print out the parts you want as you work.

at one time a couple months back there was a thread from/to someone that had posted the entire service manual online, and so I got it for free... I dont know what the thread was or even the link to the post but look around or do a search and you might still find it here at DF. Sure beats having to pay for it...
