You'd be better off buying a hi-po 360. To switch to the Hemi you'd need all new electronics, computer, TB, etc. Besides, the 360 can make some awesome, gas sucking power. Check out osme of the mopar 360 crate motors.

There is to be both a carb and fuelie version of the 5.7 hemi crate hemi. The first released was the subject of an engine swap article in one of the current car mags (sorry, I don't recall which mag). So, sure it can be done. If it is like the Viper crate engine, there is or will be a manual detailing install info. Depending on what you want and how much you wish to spend, I suspect there are other options, as noted by Osteodoc

You can go the junk yard (oops, salvage yard--I show my age) route, but if so, be SURE you get ALL electronics, harnesses, and sensors with the engine AND transmission. I've done this and it can work out fine if you get everything, even if you intend to replace/upgrade some parts, get all the original for reference..

Now, I've an extra '58 392 hemi... Nah, just joking (yeah, I do have an extra 392, but it's not going anywhere!)

All the best.
