Default Reprogramming Computer for gears

I just changed the gears in my '03 2500 from 3.73's to 4.56's. What can I do to reprogram the computer so that the truck knows what it all has? Can the dealer reprogram it or is the SuperChip programmer the only way?

Dealer can program anything and everything for $$$$$$. :P
Didn't know the 2500 needed to be calibrated after ratio change.

Just like any other truck in the 1980s maybe. It's read off the ring gear nowadays, only need speedo recalibration for a tire diameter change, NOT a gear change...

So no reprograming needed then? Sweet! I believe I can reprogram with my Super Chips programmer for the 31 to 33's

No programming needed. If you change tire diameter, you'll need to adjust it.
