Aig bag install - Broken bump stop bolts - any tips?
Going to install firestone riderite airbags. I removed the bump stops on both sides, and I was lucky enough to break 3 of the 4 rusty bolts.
They broke flush with the bottom of the frame. I took a pic but you can't see it very well.

I don't believe easy outs are going to work very well, but I suppose it is worth a try. My buddy has a 02/acetylene torch but I don't think the nut inside the frame will hold up to that.
I guess I can just weld the bag supports to the frame? You can see how the bags are supposed to bolt to those bump stop holes here on page 2 http://tinyurl.com/6aoegod
Are long bolts a bad idea? i.e. Drill out the holes and make holes on top of frame and have the bolt go all the way through? My guess is bad idea. Or long bolts and weld to frame?
