Default Heated Mirrors

I have a 2006 Ram 1500 with heated mirrors. It seems that only the passenger's side mirror is heating up. This morning on my way to work, they were both fogged up completely. I pressed the button, and the passenger side cleared up in about a minute. The drivers side didn't clear up at all after about 10 minutes.

Does anyone have any suggestions? There is only one fuse for that option, so that can't be it. Just an annoying little thing that's going to be even more annoying in the New England winter that will be here too soon.

Loose/broken wire in the harness? Yep, it's a single fuse, so that isn't it. With the switch on, see if you have 12VDC at the DB/GY wire in the driver's door (compare to the passenger door, too). If not, most likely you have a broken wire in the door harness. Apparently, this is a fairly common problem.
