Can't help ya' there, if mine ever goes I'm getting a Flex-a-Lite and if you think $24x.xx is a lot to pay...

But someone will come along who's bought a generic at a good price, I'm sure...

Not sure about one of the spectras fitting. I'm sure with some modifications it would work. For an oem check rockauto.com they usually have a better price.

+1 on rockauto.com I bought the Spectra Premium #CU2480 for my 5.9 1-2 months ago for about $100 and they ship fast (they have a shipping center in Houston, so that helps). Obviously I haven't had it on for awhile, but it's been over a month and absolutely no trouble at all. I did a thread detailing my install, that model# fit perfectly in the truck and my power steering cooler and tranny oil cooler bolted right on no problems. I gotta go thru my emails, I have a 5% discount code for rockauto if you want.

** Over $240 from NAPA?? was it a top of the line super premium or what? For ***** and giggles I called a dealer nearby and they said a stock radiator for my truck was over $260! I asked them if that was the installed price, and the guy was like No, that's just the part only. (unrelated) but I also asked about new wheel lug nuts, $5+ a piece from dealer, I got a complete set of 20 for I think $23 total from rockauto.

100 is all you should pay , i just got one last week that was a aftermarket replacmemnt and all bolted up , i had to buy 2 bolts for the trans cooler to mount and that only cost a few cent , i had bought the Zerex G-05 antifreeze and that was almost as much as the darn radiator , 15.00 a gallon . so 100 to 110 is in the right ballpark , dealer told me 294 for mine but NO way was i paying that ,

I'm thinking if I ever need one, I'll go for something with more capacity (thicker, I guess).
