Ok so lately i have started to hear a noise from my exhaust that is really annoying me. It starts just a few seconds after i start the truck and it's like a loud ticking or more like a light knock. It's coming from either my exhaust manifold or the Cat Converter. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on this? Oh ya and in the morning when i first leave the house and start to drive it makes a tapping noise. WTF! It seems to only be on the drivers side but not sure.

 

Does it stop when it's warmed up? Sounds like a leaky exhaust manifold.

 

it seems to,but when i get to work and shut the truck off it still does the exhaust knocking or ticking noise until it cools down. It's kinda hard to explain.
