Default Ram 2500 HELP!!

Hey guys i need some help here. My dads 04 2500 was making some grinding noise from the front wheels. I know the brakes needed replaced so i went ahead and did that. After I did this i had the front end still up off the ground and when i try and turn the drivers side wheel it spins free for a second and then starts making a loud grinding noise and gets stuck. Can barely move it by hand. It takes a good amount of force to get it past that point. And then spins half a turn then gets stuck again.

Any ideas of what it could be? Thanks

Unless you have binding with the caliper, which would be easy enough to check with it in the air, I'd say HUB...

On my 02 the stock one is 35mm, but all the replacement ones I've been looking at online come with a 36mm axle nut. To play it safe I'd say rent both sizes, I seem to remember some posts say they had to use a 36mm socket and some 35mm

blkjack, first of all please read the rules of the forum, you should start a new thread. secondly if you want us to help we need information, do you have a 2nd gen or 3rd gen truck, since you posted this in another thread as well. what is your year, model, engine size, mileage, etc. Also if you have any after market accessories that could possible interfere with your issue (starting trouble, well do you have any aftermarket alarm systems or remote starters).

From the very limited info I'll just throw this out... Is "no bus" showing in the odometer window? If so you need a new instrument cluster.

As a side note maybe an admin or mod will just move all this into a new thread for you
