Default "Stuck" on front diff

Went to change the oil on my front and rear diffs and the front one was stuck. I took the bottom bolts out and the tops were barely in and I pulled, used rubber mallet, and tried a little prying. I did not want to bend or dent the cover so I just did the rear and the transfer case.

Any ideas how to get the front cover lose and off?

And after I filled the rear up with 75-140 synthetic with 4oz. of limited slip and t-case with ATF+4 I went for a test drive. Going around my first circle the rear of the truck was almost like skipping like it was stuck or something. Could that be from the new oil starting to work? It didn't happen anymore after that and I was just confused on what that may have been.

Seen that happen on occasion when someone uses both a gasket AND RTV. Take you a 1" putty knife and that rubber mallet and work it around the thing until it pops loose.

It's not the oil that had to work in but the friction modifier, your LSD was grabbing. Normal procedure is to do a couple figure 8s or a couple donuts in both directions after the fluid change before taking it out on the road...

I had the same problem when I did mine. I was a little scared to pry them off because I didn't want to warp the covers. If I remember the back one had a small indention where I pried it with a screwdriver but the front cover didn't have any overhang from the case, so I spent over 10 minutes very gently wiggling a screw driver into the RTV to break the seal.
