2004 Dodge Ram Transmission Problem
HELP!
My transmission went out and got stuck in 3rd gear about 60 miles from my house. I recently had the transmission rebuilt with a master rebuild kit, and had to replace the valve body due to physical damage caused by a piece of metal from inside the transmission. My truck will now shift from 1st to 2nd to 3rd, but will not shift into overdrive. I've been reading a lot about the TCM quick learm procedure. Can my truck be reading the old value from when I was stuck in 3rd gear? Would this quick learn fix the problem?
Please Help, I have a 17 year old dying to drive this truck.
