Default 4x4 Rear Diff Question

Okay, I have an 03 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 with 4.7, auto, and 97k miles that I recently purchased to pull my little boat. I noticed that when in 4x4 (transfer stick on floor), and turning slowly, the inner rear wheel ( of the turn) seems to be sounding as if sliding in the turn, or "skipping" for traction, and have noticed this on loose gravel and on wet pavement. It does not do this when going straight, and no sounds of whining in the transfer case is noticable. I saw on the glove box sticker that it is the "anti-slip" rear axle, and I want to make sure I'm not screwing something up. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

100% perfectly normal for the front tires to bind a little bit around turns on any part-time four wheel drive...

Yeah, I'm assuming anti-slip means limited slip diff, it's just trying to find traction for you!
