Rear transmission shaft bearing replacement
A few weeks ago I started feeling a vibration and a vibration type noise at high speeds.. now they are both worse so I checked the rear end. changed the fluid, checked the free play and every thing looks good .. Universal joints all look good too. But the rear transmission output shaft has a ton of play in it and is slowly leaking.
To replace the rear shaft bearing do I have to disassemble the whole transmission or is it possible to replace the bearing without having to completely disassemble the . transmission..?
