I am still having some starting issues with my ram. Can anyone tell me if it is possable to remove the IAC motor off of the throtle body, if so How do I do it. It looks like it is held on with a metal band.
I think these TBs are meant to be one piece for the most part - I do have a spare working one though I would be willing to sell on the cheap if you do need it.
The 5.7 does not have an IAC. You need to look elsewhere if you have starting problems. Do not take apart the throttle-body, there is nothing serviceable inside it.
The problem I am having is that after the engine is warm it is hard to start. It will just keep cranking until I touch the throttle pedal, then it fires right up. No problems at all when starting cold. I have done a complete tune up and have had the TPS relearned and had a TPS voltage relearn done still same problem. And I am getting no check engine light of codes from the computer.

It sounds to me like you may be another victim of bad injectors. I went through this headache to finally figure out (after wasted time and money) that some of my injectors had funky solenoid issues and were spraying an excess of fuel. New injectors and I never had the issue since. When it's doing this check your spark plugs, you'll probably notice one or more soaked with fuel. Stepping on the gas actually is allowing more air into the mix so that proper combustion can occur. You may actually get a CEL for p030X upon starting at some point that helps indicate which cylinder has a bad injector (random missfire codes)
I have cleaned the throttle body, replaced plugs and wires. Did a complete tune up. Does anyone know how to check the injectors? Can I check them with a ohm meter?
