Reset ecu after throttle body disconnect (05 Hemi in a TJ)
Well its not quite an 05 ram but the drive train is!
I have been having issues with an idle surge on my 05 Hemi TJ so i decided to pull the throttle body and I noticed my butterfly valve was on backwards. I must have done it when I first went through the engine. I assume as it has been running OK since I first got it all back together (besides the idle surge) that was the issue so I flipped it around re-installed and started her up. To my dismay she ran like crap high idle and will not rev past 2500. I assume I am in limp mode and just need to reset the ECU.
I tried pulling the negative battery cable with no luck
I read about pulling a #23 fuse but I don't know which fuse that is on my box at the moment.
I also read something about turn the key on and holding the throttle down?
Any suggestions? I am going to completely disconnect the ECU now and see if that will reset it.
