Ram shudder
I have a 2002 Ram 2500, automatic, cummins. Everything stock, no lift or leveling kit. It has a shudder in high gear under load between 2000 and 2500 rpm. The whole truck shakes. It wont do it at all in the lower gears. I checked all u-joints, shook down the front end, tried different tires, shudder didn't change at all. Took it to Dodge and the their driveline tech bet his reputation that it was a weak trans mount and steady bearing. Replace mount and bearing and didnt change anything. Another guy told me it was TPS so I had another shop monitor that and TPS was showing fine even during the shudder. Anybody seen this before? Happens most under hard accel at around 110km/h in the rpm range I stated, such as when going up hills. And its not a death wobble.
