Default suspension question

I have a bds leveling kit on my 06 1500 4x4 and Its not exactly level. but its close and i want to add just an 1/2 in the front to make it a little higher. is there a way i can get the front up a little higher instead of taking everything off and adding a small spacer or washer.... just something i can do instead of taking it to a specialist.

thanks guys

You really shouldn't, 2" is what I consider to be the safest level amount that should be done, especially on the coil-over 4x4 Rams. A LOT of guys see vibration issues at 2 1/2" and it places the CVs beyond the angle that they like to be at.

I NEVER would stack spacers, but 2 1/2" ones are available from multiple sources. If you just HAVE to get that extra half inch, I'd go yank the spacers and do it the right way with leveling struts, either Bilstein or the Rancho Quick Lifts. Not saying you still won't have CV, ball joint and especially tie rod end issues, but you shouldn't see the vibration problems that many see out of 2 1/2" of spacer lift...

i reckon i will just keep it where its at now. I mean its close. Sometimes it looks level to me and sometimes it doesnt. I think the way the windows on the doors are slanted at the bottom kinda throw me for a loop. thanks hammer.

I have a question for you. Concerning exhaust tips, will larger ones say a 4 inch tip have any difference in sound compared to a 3 inch tip?
