Default window\lock control switch

so ive been having a problem lately where if someone in the passenger seat trys to roll their window down, it wont work unless i hit the control switches on my side. like i literally punch it and it will work for them lol. i can always control it from my side no matter what. now i have taken my door panel off a few times when i did my stereo upgrade so i figured it was just a loose wire. if not i found new master control switches on ebay heres the link. also half of the lights for the buttons flicker on and off and the other half stay on. i cant tell if the switch is going or the plug connector is loose. i dont want to spend over $100 on a switch if i dont have to.

Mine had the same issue and it was the window lock button going crazy on me. It wasnt a big deal to me or worth while to buy a new panel, I just used a jumper wire and bypassed the switch altogether and it works great.

yes had same problem just take the switch apart and usually the window lock switch has two wires soldered to it and the come unsoldered even if they look good resolder them and it will cure your problem it is in the diy section.

The solder connections on the window lock switch are bad. Easy fix - takes about 40 minutes and no parts ('cept a smidge of solder). I fixed mine last spring. Been workin' like a champ since.
