Default going back to stock muffler?

I have a 2006 hemi and put a magnaflow single in dual out muffler on it and I want to change it back to a I supose a stock muffler but want to keep the duall tailpipes on it. I am wondering if the muffler from a 2010 ram muffler would be able to be used since that truck has duall pipes, is it a single in 3" duall out 2 1/2 pipes. I would love to keep the magnaflow muffler on it but its just to loud says the wife and people that ride in the back seat when I pull my fifth wheel camper this is a 2500 truck and never had a resonater on it. I wonder if that would help to quiet it down a little. I just have to quite a down some one way or another

Put an 18 inch round magnaflow in front of your existing muffler and it will solve your issue, mine was too loud after removing both res's and that solved the issue, I couldn't believe the difference it made.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you know the part # for that 18" muffler

I am running a stock muffler off a 09 Ram that had the factory dual tailpipes. No resonators with the tailpipes exit behind each rear wheel.

Sounds very mild, just alittle louder then stock. I like it but may change it up again someday.

You could have any muffler shop put a glasspack or resonator in front of your muffler and it would quiet it down. The longer the glasspack the quieter it would be.
