I am in the market for a 3rd gen Ram, I live in MA, I have been looking for 3 weeks now and all the ones Ive seen for sale are in horrible condition or at least have 100k miles and typically a 02-04 Ram with my price range of under $10k,
I found a 2006 2500 5.7 Heavy Duty Quad Cab, Black with 151k miles. There asking $8995. What are your thoughts? Im sure I could get them to go down a little.

What are my expected things I will need to fix in future, Ive been researching engine rebuild costs/ crates, tranny rebuilds etc.

Is this truck worth the price, do you think I could get more miles out of it as it is etc (I know this question has a million things effecting it).

Be advised I do not know previous owners history with vehicle up keep.

So buy it or keep looking? I need a truck soon my G37s wont drive in it. This truck will not be used to Tow or anything just a daily driver for winter and when I don't feel like driving my G37.

Sounds pricey, but edmunds.com can help you find out if the price is right. With no details, I'd guess somewhere south of $7K
