First off i have a big spot of paint missing on my hood and its rusted pretty bad already......Then im hosing out my bed and the hose drags along the quarter and leaves scratches clear thru the paint....Im not impressed. Anyone else have issues...Ive heard the 03s had alot of problems.

 

My 04 is almost two years old and the paint is near flawless.

 

I've got an 03, and outside of a few minor parking lot dings, but paint/body look flawless!

 

I have a 02 blue ram and i use it for work and i am very carefull with it but find that the paint is very easily marked,if something rubs very lighly it leaves slight marks.

 

Mine is pretty good. A few fish eye's, but are not noticible unless I'm right up to it and waxing it. I also have some small spider webbing on the top rear corner of the cab, but oh well. Not much I can do about it now. Unless it perfs with corrosion they won't cover it and considering all of the panels are galvenized with the exception of the roof, I don't think that they have a lot of claims.

 

I read on here that they had lots of problems with the 03s

 

I don't have any major problems with the paint. I frequently scratch the clearcoat, but rub them out with Meguire's Scratch-X.
