Default Where's that u joint thread?

I must have read it a few times but now when I need it, I can't find it. I'm replacing both of my joints due to a slight vibration at 55 MPH. I suspect that is the cause of my pinion seal leak. God, I hope.

Federal Mogul precision u-joints they are greasable,

They can be had at NAPA stores if you need them now, but a better place is rock auto---a little less money

Make sure you paint a stripe down the driveline before you remove it, if you reassemble it wrong, you will need to have it rebalanced

Both u joints were shot. One was seized up pretty good and the other .. well .. found a few needle bearings were in bad shape. Job wasn't hard. I guess if you can rebuild a rear axle, u joints aren't much of a challenge.

Also replaced the pinion seal. The Timkin I put in there a few thousand miles ago failed. The seal actually split apart. Not something I expect from Timkin. I replaced it was one from NAPA with double seal.
