Default No Electrical Power

Hello. I have a 2007 2500 Ram 5.9l diesel. The truck was in a flood. Everything got wet. Now I have no electrical power to the cab. No interior lights, dash is dead, wont start. Please help

Check all fuses especially large maxi fuses, wires to and from starter and battery may be corroded, that's first step you need to do

Do you know roughly how long it was under water and how deep the water was? Those factors may lead to a lot more suggestions and things to look out for. Surely if water was above the batteries expect a lot of blown fuses. Needless to say, as you go thru checking all the connections, clean them up with 'contact cleaner' or electrical cleaner and use some dielectric grease.

Was the truck running during the flood or off. Do you have power in the 12v lighter port and have you tested the voltage from the battery terminal. This is a good place to start.
