Glad you got figured out. Having to cycle the 100 times to reset a code is retarted. I wonder if those inexpensive actron code readers can reset that. Hmmmmm!

 

c-codes are pretty much only there to help you narrow down issues.. you even have to look, or know where to look, to find them... they generally don't have bearing on engine operations whatsoever..

the only reader I'm aware of that reads c-codes (these AREN'T engine codes, CEL's..) is a scan-tool.. those things are expensive.. and, again, there is really no reason to look at the codes anyway, unless you are searching for possible causes to an issue.. it is a nice little feature that runs a BIT (built in test) on circuits as they relate to the chassis electrical system..

it's nice to have them to track down crap like which bulb is out when that blasted friggin' dang jerk of a 'Lamp Out' light momentarily dings and flashes on your instrument cluster.. that's pretty much all I've had use of with the c-code function.. uh... so far..

 

I'm just **** about my toys, its a feature I can use to check behind the scenes. I knew it wasn't major but in back of my head it eats at me. But I won't turn key 99 more times to reset it cant be healthy in long term for lock cyclinder
