New guy here.I have a 2004 ram 1500 4x4 quad cab hemi.105000 miles.Love the truck.I recently got in it to go for a spin as it only had 2700 miles put on it since feb.2cd.Any way the ETC light came on and the cel light came on.I drove it about 6 miles and the ETC light started flashing and then of course it derated itself.I checked the codes had codes for injector circuit for all 8 injectors.I cleared the codes and the cel light went out but the ETC light is still on and it idles at 1200rpm and surges step on the accelerator rev to 2200rpm max.I cleaned the ETC and reinstalled but no change.I also have unplugged the ETC while truck was running made no difference in the idle.Any ideas? I did check fuel pressure got 60psi.The ETC does a self check.Vacuum is 17inchs at 1100rpm still surging.Acc. cable is pulling the acc. actuator all the way to its stop.
