I have a 05 2500 crew cab 4wd, after driving awhile when I shift into park it makes a loud clunking noise. I have read that dodges do this but this pretty loud. This is my first dodge and I am not impressed. Snow is coming does any one have any ideas

 

Mine does it some times and some times not. I dont think mine has done it in quite some time though

 

I noticed that if it is on a very small decline or incline it is louder, I had the universals done two weeks ago still clunking

 

I recall reading that the computer makes note of harshness when shifting into and out of park, and it slowly adjusts accordingly. I don't know why it would do it more when warmed up though.
