So I have noticed that when I floor the gas pedal and it shifts to the next gear probably at around 5600 rpm, the engine light flashes a couple of times then goes away. I hooked up my diagnostic reader and it says nothing, ( no DTC to report ). Last night it came on again and this time stayed on. The reader now says detecting misfire in cylinder 4. Could this just be a spark plug issue.

 

Could be, but then again it could be a lot worse. Mine turned out to be in the "a lot worse" category.. Hope its nothing serious cause that's not a fun road for your wallet to go down.
