Hey guys. Well my buddy has a question for you guys. He has a 2008 1500 QC Hemi that came from Canada few years ago and gauge cluster was switched out to MPH. So it reads and MPH and not KPH. Anyway he let his kid play in the truck and now he has a hole in his cluster and the seat LOL. well lesson learned. His question was this. Can he buy another gauge cluster on Ebay that has MPH readout or since its a canada truck will he need to program the cluster so it work again and does he needs to do something else to get it programed again. Dont know how it was switched over or what is required for switch over. Maybe since its already in MPH all he needs to do is swap another cluster in and be done. Also can he get any Mile reading on the cluster or does it have no match the his current miles. Reason I ask this is because does the computer store the miles and then will update the cluster or whatever miles was on the cluster will show up when he installs it in his ram. Thanks.

 

He should be able to just buy the lens cover as a separate part.

Alternatively, buy any matching cluster and swap the controller maybe?
