Default Headlight problem

I have a low beam HID kit. Last night I went out, they were working the whole night, lows and foglights. Stopped to eat dinner, went and cranked the truck and turned em on, nothing.. had to run my high beams the whole way home. Keep in mind that every wire is plugged up right and plugs are wrapped in electrical tape and zip tied.
Anyone know what the problem is?

Please refer to the HID sticky thread as it may help!

and the first thing i would do to troubleshoot is stick the oem halogen bulbs back in and see if both low and hight work. You could just be loosing connection at the HID plug that goes into the OEM headlight socket.
