Error Message C2100
Hey guys ,
my scan tool throws out the following dtc error message this moring :
C2100 Battery voltage low
i checked the dodge repair manual cd and i actualy found 3 of these error messages right in there:
C2100 battery voltage low ( 340 )
C2100 Battery voltage low (EBC 125 )
C2100 Battery voltage low
i figured out that the error messages above must be something to do with the anti lock break module or possibly caused by the same problem .
But the third one is still a mystery to me....... has anything to do with the final drive control module .
As far as I know ,this module is only installed in the 2500 power wagon...
Correct me if you know more or have more experiences on this. Any help and hints are very appreciated

Hi weedahoe ,
it's a doge ram 1500 quad cab with the hemi engine , modelyear 2006
I didn't noticed any unusual stuff during driving.
The truck runs smooth and the engine starts immediately even in cold outside temperatures. The battery seems to be in good shape.
I tested the battery with a battery check tool and there also should be the vehicles charging system in good condition .
Hmmm.....maybe a wet or dirty wiring harness connector ?

Im sry, i did find c2100in the 06 service manual.
Download that manual from the links in my signature below and look at the bottom of the directory and find the DTC codes section. That C2100 code will direct you to section 8F-9 where you can find more info and trouble shooting on it
